Africorder Level 1

A Recorder Tutor for the Young Beginner

Africorder Level 1 is a tutor for beginner recorder students. Starting with the basics of holding the instrument it progresses at an easy pace to the student playing a performance piece with confidence.

It is no secret that the recorder is a very appropriate instrument for music making at home and in schools. It is an inexpensive, yet serious instrument that can be used for a whole class of students at the same time. Included in this book are piano accompaniments of all the songs used in the lessons; this includes a rehearsal track as well as a standalone accompaniment track, so the student can perform a piece with confidence.

Music is a language that is understood by all people of all tribes and all nations. It is a means of communication and expression that is enjoyed and shared by people of all ages, races and cultures. It does not only serve as a means of communication and entertainment, but also develops a sense of self-worth, self-discipline and pleasure as the student grown in the knowledge and understanding of the world of music.
